The Belfast concert (12th May 1998).

Three years to the day since Larry last performed in Belfast, he was back! After the concert, people were saying that this was his best ever in Ireland - it certainly was an extra-special night. Larry was in good form, although suffering a little from shortness of breath, and used both guitar and piano extensively. He was supported by Brian Hueston, a local singer, who also did a duet with Larry. 2.5 hours of vintage and not so vintage Norman, as he served up some old favourites, some more obscure "Bootleg & Street Level" songs, and a good sprinkling of new material. One to remember - for sure!
