
The L'Derry concert (16th May 1995).
The Londonderry concert may be the last concert Larry ever performs in Northern Ireland. Because of that fact, it was always bound to be very special, but Larry made it extra special. This was a solo concert, unplugged and free. Larry enjoyed himself and joked often with the audience, especially whenever he tried a sing-along in "Long Hard Road." At the end of the first part he was quite tired, but recovered and returned with some of his old energy. This was a stand-up concert, the chair was pushed aside: Larry came to the fight standing. He preached at the end for several minutes and prayed, and then finally walked off stage, perhaps for the last time here. After the concert he stayed around until the building was closing, and talked with everyone who wanted to talk to him.
